Apparently Normal

Apparently Normal

A Poem by ThePersona
"

A poem about how it feels living with Dissociative Identity Disorder

"
I wake up
She's still sleeping
I try to move
He has power
I try to see
It has vision

I'm in the shower
He likes it hot
She likes it cold
It hates water
But I am neutral

I dress my hair
He wants it short
She wants it long
It wants it red
But I want nothing

I see my friends
She greets them
He touches them
It ignores them
I apologize

I apologize daily
But for what
So my many faces
Can just do it again
They are Hyde
I am Jekyll
