The burden of lament # 2A Poem by PearlPoetIn sweet dreams She comes to me Drinks the music from my eyes And lets her petals of breath Fall upon my soul. I once again feel loved, Once again I want to believe
But then, Everything fades away And I found myself awakened At the crumbling pillars of my heaven Remembering, That I was born within The arms of pathless darkness And baptized in Angels’ tears...
In sweet dreams She comes to me And from the core of the tangled silence I hear a calling that mesmerizes me The luminous smell of sensuous syllables, Uttered in evaporated whispers that are nestling upon the edge Of her flower-like lips. I once again want to feel, Once again I want to Love
But then, The hereditary fragrance of Omen Descends from the crowd of black stars Oozes through my existence And I know Everything I ever dream of Is mine, Mine but All alone... © 2014 PearlPoetFeatured Review
