The ForgottenA Poem by TheOther
Isn't this the end?
Isn't this goodbye? He lays on the grass alone and cold. He does not speak, he does not think. His eyes face with an empty look the sky, but he does not truly see a thing. He does not move, a lifeless body He gave it up, he had no hope. Night and silence made a pact. They stole the boy's soul. He now sleeps eternally, as people pass him by, indifferently. Alone and cold but no one cares. Not even him, he cannot care. He cannot feel the ache. The night and the silence took the boy away... This is the end but no goodbyes. There is no one to say goodbye to. In memory of you, the forgotten one... You don't know me, but I remember you. You were lonely and I am lonely too... © 2010 TheOtherReviews
