AmnesiaA Poem by TheOtherShadows or Intruders? I close my eyes, secluded in the memories. The curtain falls as the suspense builds up, but there is no ideal solution behind it. Just a lingering scent in my mind's eye. In secrecy it untapps the seal within me. I still posses no knowledge of the universe. I still do not perceive the cores of my existence. The magic has vanished from the box, maybe I've used it all, or maybe there never was any. There is nobody to save you but yourself. Everyone ends up dead, one way or another. The music seizes, but still plays on in my head. There is no why. The question got lost in the answer and the answer in the depths of consciousness. Diving into the endless theories, I starve for truth, but all I find is lies. It is not what it seems, it never is. It is not what I think, nor what you think. A blank page with emptiness printed upon. A clueless white swallowed by the night's dark gown. The unknown echoes in my ear, and I'm not supposed to hear it. They say its all hidden inside, forgotten. They say all I need is here and now. They say and they always will. I am free to believe what I want. I believe in nothing. Amnesia.
