NJ+GVA Poem by Urza's Severed Head
Four letters etched in stone,
a love I could not show, a meaning known to you and you alone, cradled by the letters I carved so long ago. We laughed just like the rest, our smiles were just as warm, but still we failed their tests when we could not conform. Why do they insist on hate? Why am I forced to hide? Why must our hearts separate? Why do they want our love to die? While others stood proud we felt fear. Our love could not be spoken aloud and only when hidden could we draw near Together, we could not be seen so, I settled for the next best thing. Letters for us to sit between, a throne where love is king under a seat, on the side of a tree, in the wet concrete, places only we will see. There it's just you and me. We're not under their tethers, here we can be free with all of our love in four little letters
