Once upon a time

Once upon a time

A Poem by T.Marie
"

Rapunzel Little Mermaid Mulan Snow White The Pain that exists in life

"

Once upon a time

I lived in a tower

The clock would strike on every hour

and I'd be reminded I'm alone

Once upon a time

I lived under the sea

With hopes the world was looking back at me

I wanted to see

But I knew I’d never be free

So I waited for you to find me

Once upon a time

I knew who I was

But that person would hurt people

So I went to war with the ravage boars

And fought 'till I was strong enough to climb a steeple

Once upon a time

I was the fairest in the lands

But then someone struck me with an evil hand

Now I lay waiting

Once upon a time

You never saved me

So now I hate the world

I cry in my tower

Tears that make a sea

And My reflection never looks back at me

True love never did exist

So I know there’s no point in a kiss

I'm OK with you not there for me

This beautiful and powerful. I am a big fan of Disney and its characters and seeing it portrayed into different ways of poetry is my absolute favorite to read. I like how you have it to where you remind the readers the three of the princesses are waiting, that one must fight for her right to be like almost accepted and the last is a constant reminder that you're not loved. Beautiful just beautiful.
