Alone

Alone

A Poem by T.Marie
"

Just a poem about a fight my family had tonight. Every morning something happens so when ever the phone rings I get this dreadful feeling and know that the rest of my day will be hell.

"

ALONE

12 am with no one to hold

I'm feeling lost and all alone

The wind is blowing

And the voices are raised

But no one cares enough to dig my grave

No where to go

No where left to run

My life is filed with anything else as long as its not fun

Alone, all alone

Who am I supposed to call in the middle of the night?

When I'm locked in my room

filled to the brim with fright

I know in my heart that this isn't right

But I think its time I gave up this fight

Alone, All alone

So when the choir sings and the church bells ring

Will I be denied my wings and the end to my suffering?

No one to hold and all alone

The flames of hell don't feel to well

I'm all alone

All alone

Alone

A very beautiful poem. Understanding what it's like to be in a family that fights alot I connect with this poem. You have defiantly captured the true fear and effect family conflict inflicts on us all and you should know that even though you are alone you are never truely alone :). (if that makes any sense)
