Barry

A Poem by Christopher Stone
"

After I lost my Mentor

"

Barry

He nurtured the seed

Of sculpture

That lay within me

The sculptures  grew

Out side of me

They went to many countries

Along with me

Some stayed

Some came home

He got sick

He never spoke to me

Anymore

He could not

I was part of his disease

Then he died

At 68.

To be able to create beauty with your hands is a gift, and you can also convey emotion with your pen........the loss of someone who brought forth your creativity, brought it to life, very sad.
I loved these lines

He nurtured the seed

Of sculpture

That lay within me

The sculptures grew

Out side of me
