she rose from my ashesA Poem by m.s.earlyShe rose from my ashes; Cleansed me, Failing not to remove all fear. Her hand touching through the
walls of my flesh made clear… I saw her eye diamond star leap
from my mind and with reproach did not falter, blinking once before returning to the Heavens. My eyes once shadowed and red,
pierced intentionally; Cradled her thoughts and moistened on her lips, Found peace in her solitude and wisdom about her air. She dove from my high cliffs And swam beneath my sea, And forever mining the warm
stones in her heart, I embrace her and offer one
eternal promise… To keep my love in her arms and
wrapped ‘round her tightly Bowing never only slightly glancing into the deep brown Of her eyes, only pausing to
breathe on the soft of her neck, To be lost in her kiss,
swimming past her breakers, and losing nothing in her depths. © 2016 m.s.earlyReviews
