manic episode

manic episode

A Poem by m.s.early

you’re sitting somewhere behind your three dollar shades

trapped in a delusion of righteousness

like a plate glass window waiting to shatter

but it won’t shatter yet...

the chemicals are waiting their catalyst

a manic episode is about to take place

and the shards will be sharp enough to tear a whole family apart

phone calls by the dozen

the whispers in the ears of my children

she was so pretty… how could she be so crazy

Even beautiful creatures have flaws. My grandma used to say God gives to those that need. Maybe he figures beauty already has a leg up so he puts his magic somewhere else.lol

Wow. So real, raw and beautifully articulated. You've nailed it. Like the entire piece.

some of the most beautiful things seem crazy underneath, and some of the craziest things are beautiful beneath, like that movie, "Beautiful mind" have you seen it?

I liked this poem. Felt like secret whispered being told.
"phone calls by the dozen
the whispers in the ears of my children
she was so pretty… how could she be so crazy"
The above lines. Reminders and real life. Thank you my friend for sharing the amazing poetry.
