lips of the queen

lips of the queen

A Poem by m.s.early

A smile on a cool steel breeze,
Forever in the eyes of the queen.
Her slow silver tongue and her lips move together
Like children singing in Spring.
My toes dip testing her water;
The strength of her current ever reaching.
Her tide is a swelling melody,
And I lay crashed on her beaches.
If every word was beautiful,
Then every one of her.
Her soft tender skin, rose petals divine,
Her eyes unrelenting pierce mine.

Of all the queens, I wanted to be the queen of hearts....but have always rendered myself in spades. No diamonds or lucky clovers here....yet still a queen.I am putting this back into the treasure chest. so many favorites I have from you! Happy Hallo X!

I wonder if we all consider ourselves queens in our own right.....I have conquered many things but not all of my fears. Maybe I am just a princess in Queens attire. I am going to babble for a few days. This wacky weather has me spinning!

I love this language, semiabstract and easily recognizable although the form is stylized. This has
a classical current running through it, the queen as women who is so authorized to perform
the sacred rights of love and divinity. A wonderful love poem in apperance and validity.

well written
