sans chimera

sans chimera

A Poem by m.s.early

Forever painstakingly hoped,
forever waited for words to pour,
forever finally inclined to lend itself.
Clung surely to anchored faith;
forever vow advertised whispers upon evening.
Forever never reticence
as the blessing of such smile escaped
into threads manifesting
our saga.
Once surreal unreachable apparition,
waxed existential,
sans surreal,
sans illusion,
sans chimera...
love therefore withstanding.

You pen with excellence and convey with precision. I like the last line the most but all...:).......................

life is a story in real time and some time later it catches up to us and if we have love in the end, we've done alright................

Indeed Paul. Thank you for reading :)
love is not just an apparition...it is a reality...and those monsters in the closet can't stop it if we allow ourselves to let go...and just feel..no illusion, no monster...just love.
love the last line as well.

Thank you Jacob :)
Xavier, this poem is excellently written, and eminently complex. Forever is the ideal that defeats the surreal and the chimera. "Love, therefore, withstanding". It is beautiful and hopeful and wonderful. Thank you for sharing it!

Thank you for getting that "forever" was an object here and not a concept.
