maria - A fictional wind popularized in "Paint Your Wagon" (Lerner and Loew, 1951) and by the Kingston Trio (1959), whose name may have originated with the 1941 book "Storm" by George R Stewart. (Jan Null, Golden Gate Weather Services)
There is no relation between this piece and the fictional works that contain it.

Splendid imagination, storms and wind is my most favorite desserts of the nature, that may be the reason I married a storm even, really enjoyed, treat for the readers, picture perfect poetry
// claddagh shaped tufts
whose tender hands cling
with warming chinooks
between fall and spring //
I love the sophistication of your writes, X - you always write from the heart and with your heart. The emotion and wording of your poems are always spot on. I loved how you have shown us Maria in this one and not just telling us about it, you're not vague in anyway.
Your poetry is amazing!
From where do your words flow?
I love how you SHOW us Maria as opposed to just telling us.
Incidentally, I am now singing this tune in my mind from The Sound of Music:
"How do you solve a problem like Maria? How do you catch a cloud and pin it down?"
Thank you for the brilliant imagery and the new song in my head! :)
