behind clouds delighted

crafted and sustained

in grace yet requited

what dandy breath mist

yon passel swirls sweep

cirrus curls straining 

amidst cyan sheet

claddagh shaped tufts

whose tender hands cling

with warming chinooks

between fall and spring

etesian drifts limn soft

silk pastoral scenes

whilst ivory vapored trails

in sunset glistening

facile zyphyros athwart

sky lofts horizons cascade

less translucent crystals

provide pittance of shade

maria - A fictional wind popularized in "Paint Your Wagon" (Lerner and Loew, 1951) and by the Kingston Trio (1959), whose name may have originated with the 1941 book "Storm" by George R Stewart. (Jan Null, Golden Gate Weather Services)

This floats so nicely, I love the wind and cloud imagery especially. I think you chose a good "shape" for this poem, the shorter lines and stanzas paired with that ghost of rhyme make it flow so nicely. Wonderful piece!
