if i love you

if i love you

A Poem by m.s.early

if i love you
and i fear how you will  love me
then i will never stretch one wing
or see the earth as anything but sufferable;
another spring will pass
without my seeing anything
but me,
but if i leave expectancies out all night
so that they spoil and congeal
on the counter,
hope and faith will be relieved;
love being the strongest of the three
will be remaining,
and i would rather love you helplessly
than any way at all.

You are welcome...:)......................

love being the strongest of the three
will be remaining,

Great write, either you can love her, or leave your expectations way high up so that hope and faith will come as an outcome, love always the strongest, if there is no love, no poetry even, unfortunately poet can not stretch a wing as love is not possible in mutual way at this minute, still poet is not succumbing to the situation continue to love her helplessly, pain is felt and clearly projected with emphasis in this poem
