colors love you most

colors love you most

A Poem by m.s.early
"

An attempt to concoct a soup of senses

"

color loves you most…

the way cocoa loves the rich depth of your eyes,

and mocha loves the cream of your skin.

your smile is bright and fresh like lavender in the spring,

your lips move the way maroon and rust and yellow kiss the autumn,

and your touch dazzles the way white sparkles the winter.

I love how the subject manner speaks in similes of the love of another. I believe your purpose in communicating is by utilizing predominant emotion. The poem is structured as if it is a sonnet. You utilize personifications very well throughout the entire poem. The rhythmic quality is slow, such as how true love should be.

A "dazzle" of poetic vision.
