Follow & Fit InA Poem by Victoria HarlequinConformity is the key.Dry kisses and gyrating hips Alternating lights and groping hands She But that's not where she belongs Her icy blue eyes screamed death Scaring away any who were curious Her waist length white hair whipped about Blinding the eyes of her admirers Thin pale lips and a frail body Made her prone to her peers Sweat and heavy breathing Shouting and spilling drinks This is not her 'scene' And yet, she won't leave Not unless everyone else does Why risk being different when you can fit in? A commotion caught her eyes People were running outside She wondered where they were going One.. two.. five.. twenty people Jumping over a cliff laughing with happiness It didn't seem right . . . But, why risk being different when you can fit in? © 2009 Victoria HarlequinReviews
