A Daze

A Daze

A Poem by Victoria Harlequin
"

There is really no description for this except that I thought of it in the middle of my science class. So...read if you'd like

"

Sing me the song in which we sleep

Dozing off into waterfalls of perfection

Then landing into a dark shadow of passion

Far away from comprehension

Never aware of the agony we put others through

Ignoring the cries of disapproval

In reality, none of the songs are real

We are the ones who cry out disapprovals

Moving our bodies to the sound of a harp

As others sell themselves to the songs

I can feel the vibrations flowing through my veins

Don't blind yourself with curiosity

Because when the blades fall

Nothing will matter, and the songs will gently shatter

Fading silently as your hands commence shaking

And your legs violently quiver

Then we'll whisper the song in which we sleep

Dozing off into waterfalls of perfection

Ignoring all of the grammar problems I think this is a wonderful poem, although I'm wondering what you mean by don't blind yourself with curiousity.? Isn't our curiousity what pushes us to gain knowledge and to see more clearly? You definately have an interesting writing style and I would like to see more from you.
