Parched By Lucentia

A Poem by The Message

Joy was lost
Under waves and
Beckoned
I to save a
Life, but
A world cannot hold
New with old so
Time abandons joy.

Someone will save
A dollar tonight,
Crying lost on
Rigid resolve.
In this light
Fear is all we
Ingest, legions
Care not to
Enlongate someone.

Many see the sun
Over us and think it kind.
Others know the sun
Negates the many.

I like this one, not because I kept spewing words at you but because its amazing. I loved the lines,
"A world cannot hold
New with old so
Time abandons joy,"
theres just something so...profound about it. About the entire piece!

I really like the last stanza about the sun. It's simple put and seems so much more profound.
