Or Perhaps He Just Fears Birds

Or Perhaps He Just Fears Birds

A Poem by The Message
"

Written for a cascade poem contest.

"

Fear

Through air

Flies swiftly

Towards my eye

And this man will die

By the end of our night

When a shrieking will rise up

Drowning out the light and promise

Consuming the world with fell shadow

Very nice structure and form of course. Reading the words made me imagine getting into a fight with another man and how the anger takes you to a dark place.
