The Despair

The Despair

A Poem by Death Stalker

His eyes stared blankly up in the sky,
his soft hands lie on the grass, unmoved.
Bruises surround his neck in shape of a rope
screams of wails surround this man.
Two wails... One sorrow wails
and the blaring wails
from the patrol cars.

This man feels unloved
by his family and friends.
The sorrow wails proves him wrong,
smeared make up all over their faces
all of them proves him wrong.
He is loved.

But now, the sorrow wails
will never reach him no more.
Echoed by a small child
that said,
"Why are you crying?
Daddy is just sleeping."

Suicide is such a terrible thing.
I love the structure of this poem.
