Abysm of Oblivion

Abysm of Oblivion

A Poem by Bobby Madden
"

Fantasy.

"
Abysm of the unknown, underneath the winds blown
Make you feel inadequate and make you feel alone
Sink into the depths and descend into oblivion
Never breathe the air or see the light of day again
Realm of dark shadow and dwelling of Leviathan
Terror beyond all imagination lurking wherein
Embrace of the endless, induction of the breathless
Be devoured in the darkest hour into bottomless
Stand upon the shore while you stare into horizon
Cherish all you feel and all you lay your eyes on
Winds, sand, and sunlight omnipresence
Reside above the world and retain a living essence
Vastness of the Hydro, ubiquitously far and low
Therein I never know, moreover shall I never go
