Leap of Faith

Leap of Faith

A Poem by t.m.

I am afraid of so many things
But I act as though I am
Fearless.

Words have failed me before
And I fear that they will again.

I am scared of the word no,
But I am scared of the word
Yes.

My fears are not always rational,
But I suppose neither am I.

My impatience scares me,
For it leads to
Loss.

I am stuck going in circles
And jumping through hoops.

If only they knew.
