my own grave

my own grave

A Poem by t.m.

I guess today is the day
Chosen by my sick fate
To put me in my place.

Reminded where I belong,
I'm questioning why
I am not yet gone.

My existence is a mistake
That I am supposed to fix
With a shovel,
For I dig my own grave.

Why make someone else
Do what I still can?

I'll bury myself
If I live long enough to try.

And I'll leave notes to a few people
Who deserved a goodbye.

Just feeling like shit. Thanks to AG for helping me realize the hell I'm supposed to be in. More thanks to TS, DR, CS, DS, etc. The list is too long. Haha good luck ever finding this though.

Thank you. I am better now; it was good to get it out a bit.
What happened tonight? Is everything ok?

Those are both funny questions with much less funny answers.
