Change

this is the worst piece of s**t I've written in forever

One thing I learned about life after

was that change is inevitable and that I

should just accept it.

I did. Things change all the time. 

I'm always changing.

It's so hard to change into the person

that I was so desperate to be.

And I know that no matter how much

I pretend,

or the effort I put into the performance,

I am not there.

I see things through two sets of eyes

and I wish I didn't.

But that's part of the change, too.

Someday, hopefully I won't.

The world is always changing.

People come and people go, and

I guess maybe it's my turn.

Author's Note

I'm thinking about leaving the Café. I'll leave everything up, but everything on the outside of the screen is so much different than it is in here. And I don't think I can handle it.

If I do leave, there will be one last thing posted. But I'm thinking maybe it's my time.
