The TruthA Poem by t.m.Will you still remember me when twenty years have passed and we've long since stopped speaking to one another? Will you think back to everything we've been through and remember it fondly? Or will you hate me for what I've done to you, to us?
I just don't want to be here anymore. To have my heart broken time and time again, by something I never had. I can't help it. I will apologize a thousand times over, but I know it won't change anything.
Every time that I write, I hear lyrics from songs that describe how I feel so well, and that's all I want to write. Those lyrics, over and over again until my fingers are cramped and I have to force myself to take a break. They fit perfectly.
This is a mess, just like me. Just like my thoughts. Just like everything.
(It doesn't matter, though, does it? Not when you think about the Grand Scheme of things.)
