ColoursA Poem by t.m.I see the sky in your eyes and the grass tangled in your hair as we're laughing and I think of the day we stood in the hallway outside my door. Our embrace made the air around us heavy with our thoughts. The words slipped past my lips before I could stop them. "We could be perfect." I felt your smile and the way your hands held mine. "What about us would be perfect?" I didn't even have to think when I answered your question. "Everything." It was like that word was invented for that question. For us. © 2013 t.m.Author's Note
