PurgatoryA Poem by t.m.It felt like home. It was home, once. But that was so long ago, how can you still remember? We've all changed by now. I don't remember the negativity that radiates from you, or the condescension that falls from your mouth in the form of malicious words designed to sting and take residence just below the surface of my skin where they fester and create doubt and fear. Perhaps I've just been away for too long. Maybe I've forgotton my roots; my reason for the way that I am. Or could it be that the blindness and blissful ignorance that plagues the rest of them has been removed from my own being?
