TrialsA Poem by BradleyA poem about pain and healing.Remember when me and you, just Us in your room? We painted the sun on the moon. We wrapped stars around our wounds. Remember the illusion we created, When the real sun rose and arbitrated? How quickly our smiles faded. Remember the pain we created? Remember when we looked up? The searing light, how it burned, Cauterizing us each in turn, Then our eyes adjusted so we could learn. Remember when the sun set, and We let the moon be the moon? Our wounds - We gave up the stars that night. Without that stolen light - Remember when the sun set? Remember when me and you, just Us in your room? We painted the sun on the moon. We wrapped stars around our wounds. © 2014 BradleyAuthor's Note
