AmazingA Poem by BradleyWhen an escalator breaks, it's still stairs.
A postal worker puts a paycheck in a box.
Intelligent design by intelligent design. The machine grows perpetually bigger, smarter and healthier. It owes us everything and we owe it the same. A musician motivates a man for another mile. Everyone plays a part, has a role, fills a niche. When's the last time you were hungry? When's the last time you were cold? When's the last time you couldn't get where you wanted to go? An engineer imagines the next idea. A motor no less important than a chip. A switch no more important than a fan. The grease, the fuel, the screws and rivets. The machine can compensate, its resources resilient. When's the last time you were amazed? © 2013 Bradley |
