you must not be aware of the thickness in the air
of the way the whole world stares

piling weight on to me
you must not realize the tears in my eyes when your gazing straight at me

i feel the walls closing in
i feel the words stuck in my throat and i would cut them out if i could
but i cannot

you, you can dance as i trip and fall to my knees

your hand reaches out to me but i cannot grab it
i am stuck to the ground just as everyone's gaze is stuck on me
