So... these are real people who I was in school with October of 8th grade who has given me permission to tell this story. For their sake we’ll just call the main girl of the story Katrina ( like the

“I have a huge problem” Katrina said. We were in art class and she had walked in late because she had no concept of punctuality, though the bell had just rung. We all had settled into our seats and had started sketching designs for our newest project, anything Halloween, and I was mid way through my picture of Vermillion Ché (check out that story) and was about to add the background when she dropped her stuff down next to me. “ This oughta be good” Dawn said, and we turned to Katrina to see her “huge problem”. And I will never forget what she said. Which guy should I go out with? Now this was of course my first experience with Katrinas boy issues since we only had known each other for a few days. I asked her about each of the guys and heres each scenario

1: 3 guys asked her to go to the movies with them

2: 1 guy (who was in highschool when she was in 7th grade) had asked her to the mall

3: 1 guy asked her to the mall

4: 1 guy asked her to the carnival ( which was in town)

5: 1 guy, he had a girlfriend, wanted her to sneak out at like 1am to go to the park and hang out.

Her problem was these were all on the same friday night. So she wanted us to tell her who to go with. I had only 1 boyfreind so far and it had been 3 years since we broke up. I asked her the most important question anyway though. “Are your looking for a long term boyfriend or is this just for friday night?” “Only friday night” she replied and I somehow gave her advice I had learned from my only other friend who as far as I knew had ever had a boyfriend. Who notably was the same one I had. What I said I honestly am laughing in my head as I type this.

“ Save the high school boy for high school, he’ll be useful. Never go on a date with 3 people who all like you it will get weird and it’ll ruin it for you. Your don’t want to be seen by anyone who will rat you out so don’t go to the mall. The carnivals lame and will ruin your friday night. Also another chance to be seen and we don’t want that. Your biggest issue is the fact that the one who wants you to sneak out,let’s call him boy1, boy1 has a girlfriend who is also your friend so if you don’t want to lose that friendship you're doomed.” “ Well I actually hate her. She’s a b****” Katrina told me. I answered honestly. “So you get revenge on a b**** and your get a date to dump as soon as you're done. That answers that question, it’s the only logical thing to do.”

Dawn watched this go down and was listening and adding little comments here and there.

Overall I was a better class than usual for me since I got to meddle in others lives. I also found out that it went well. Best thing is she never got caught.
