The Politician

The Politician

A Poem by TheLostMind
"

This is how I see "some" politicians..

"
I am the reason for your pain.
Your loss is my gain.
I live to kill, I live to slay.
I bathe in blood all day.

I crave for money, I crave for women,
I enslave those hopeless men.
In my greed you all are slaughtered.
Because of me, your dreams are shattered.

I divide you in the name of region,
I divide you in the name of caste.
I accuse you all of treason.
And wonder how long you'll last.

In silence you live, in silence you die.
But you never ask me "why"? .
Its your fear that makes me strong.
It helps me do what's wrong.

As long as you stay docile.
Without fear I shall live.
And hope I never see a day.
On which, for my sins, I pay.

'The Politician ' is my name.
I understand neither love nor shame

Docile is pronounced with an "eye" i and that kind of gets me. But well done!

Thanks for reviewing. What do you mean by docile is pronounced with an "eye" i?

As in there's an "ee" i and an "eye" i.
This is the accurate depiction of a politician. The rhyming is good and the content will agitate a politician, which would be great. Haha. It will also make the commoners laugh.
Simple, yet a good write.

Politicians are meant to help a common man not destroy him. Thanks :)
