RealityA Poem by TheLonelyWriterI got bored.
Stop before you do,
Think before you speak. Bite your tongue, Turn the other cheek. Watch what you say, Who you are, what you feel. Be a puppet, not a puppeteer Anything you want isn't a big deal. Love comes to those who are perfect. We learn to pity the underdog that can't seem to win. Perfection has a definition. That no normal person seems to fit in. You're going to be hated, Too skinny, too fat. Too tall, too short, never just right, You're taught who you are, never to be that. You're dammed if you do, You can follow every rule they place. You're trying to hard Putting on a fake face. You're dammed if you don't, You're seen as a horrible rebel. Reality sucks, you're never going to win. But you can't escape it, life is a battle © 2015 TheLonelyWriterAuthor's Note
