A Poem by NeiL ArandA
"

Missing the light

"

Home

Though I wear this cloak
and hide behind this dark veil
To numb the pain
to fill this void
Finding purpose and solace
to the riddles of the pelting rain .

So I ebb aimlessly
like a ship without a sail
fading, wandering, drifting
farther away from Your shore .

Yet Your light always shines,
burning brightly inside
Beaconing this weary heart
to return home ...

"find your way back, find your way back to my heart) (starship)

your poem reminds me of this song...there is a good melody to that idea of returning home...which is where the heart is...not matter how far we stray.

WOW I simply feel in love
with this piece so beautiful
and so true when we drift away
he yanks us back and pulls us in
and won't let go He see's our hearts.

I loved this such beautiful words

Finding purpose and solace
to the riddles of the pelting rain.

We are a song with out the voice without
the words and a light house without the
light to guide us when we don't have our LORD.

I can relate to this we've all been there
I am nothing without God in my life.

I will favorites this as well will like
to go back in read it very inspiring
many of your pieces are.

Thank you for sharing this lovely piece.

Blessings. Benita
