Chess is like an elusive woman.

Who turn you away, countless times.

You find yourself keep coming back,

For a chance of another dance.

Chess is not for the fainthearted

By bravery it is not won

It is not conquered by brute strength

But by patience, planning and

Arduous preparation alone.

Beauty and brains.
Some hearts are won with flashy cars and wealth...
Some skirts are blown away by low body fat and narcissistic posing.
Some by convenience and comfort.

Yet the heart bound by confidence and intelligence... Ah, now this heart is worth education and effort to prove worthy of... Chess is not a game for everyone... So it is with the complications of love.

I like this piece, I once did 4 poems about Chess, it's my favorite game... and play it frequently. For me, there lays truth in your words, from your point of view. :) I think life in general is a chess-game, nowdays, we must be prepared to a lot of strategical thinking, there is always a next move to a next level...

And ofcourse I loved this piece, it will go into my library.

She's beautiful. Being the World Chess Champion, an intelligent person plus a perfect beauty...who wouldn't adore such woman? Even I would have admired her especially if I met her in person.
