Goodbye?

Goodbye?

A Poem by Mark Daniels

Oh my muse, my beautiful inspiration
why have your ordered this? our separation.
I thought you were the one, for you i'd do
anything under the sun. You gifted me with Poetry,
but when you left, did you know that with you, you took most of me?
I miss you, we were so good together, without you I don't know
if there will be another. But thankfully you made me an optimist,
so no matter how pissed off I get at you, I love you Muse, not the band
the one i use everyday. Well, I guess i'll just keep writing without your inspiration
maybe i will move a nation with my words. The sound i'll make won't from you be taken.
No more emotion, just rhyme doing everything for me but occupying
time that I spent with you in my head. And this better be the last time i'll have ever said:
"Goodbye my muse, of beautiful inspiration, I don't that you left now that I learned my lesson."

This is very good; any one who needs inspiration to write will relate to it. I have no use, but my work is different.
Check out the last line; I believe there's something missing.
