Life

Life

A Poem by Mark Daniels

They say we all have a purpose,
they say we all have a reason,
but im losing faith in that ive been told,
with every passing season.

Ya know, i've been told all my life,
that it all comes with a price.
You gotta live with the hand youve been dealt,
but i say that applies to the rats and the mice.

I just wanna know what the reason to life is,
if i have to be rich, or poor will suffices
no matter what i do, I always know the risk.
Treating others right, or taking a hike in air thats brisk.

So from this day on, im gonna live life to the fullest,
and i dont care if my life ends by the way of the bullet.
I challenge you all, to follow in suit.
Enough of this talking, let's go have a hoot!!
