A Poem by Mark Daniels

I think my life's a movie,
My whole lifetime cut into 2 hours.
The critic said it was "disapproving",
I shall not argue with godly powers.

I walk through the halls,
And watch everyone fall.
Surrounded by knowledge, and people,
Yet none of it is used at all.

I listen to them bicker,
I sit in on their fights.
You know what? here's the kicker,
I wish they would see the light.

And when I'm deep in thought,
They all assume I'm what I'm not.
Each name I'm given, hurt way more than the last,
I wish i could take this movie, and change out the cast.

Who knows when my movie will end,
Or how much will it be worth?
(I)Just hope people take from it and send,
My message to the ends of the Earth.
