Blow away

Blow away

A Poem by Mark Daniels

I wish i could just blow away,
like a leave in the Autumn winds.
I don't think no one will care if i blow away,
no one will notice.

So as i sit here,
upon this ledge,
debating with myself wether to blow away,
or not.

I think about everything in my life,
the good,
the bad,
and everything else.

And then I remember the prayer i made,
the one that freed me from my heart, my prison.
So I step down from the edge,
and refuse to be blown away.
