For those who ponderA Poem by J.M. Santós
That which is profound knows no other way to be than dark
For darkness rests upon the face of the deep And he who questions eventually comes to understand the theories of everything; as well as create his own by the vast expanses of time, space, probability, consequence and the evolution of his doubts For his doubts have led him on a journey everlasting. Within his embrace is the Universe, and within him is an abyss of question Intense and pensive. No longer man; but soul and mind dispersed. The prize for enlightenment is eternal darkness. Within oneself, one is doomed to be free; for there is no consequence for question and all whom have learned to question with reckless abandon is forever burdened by a literal mindful prison. Darkness is the product of enlightenment. And to no surprise, enlightenment is the product of darkness. There is no bliss for he who is not ignorant For he has come to understand the consequence of choice. © 2020 J.M. SantósReviews
