The loss took him hard, yet he is not a broken man. A face disappeared, yet another one came to sight. An old friend, with an identity many would want to achive.

"

The 2nd chapter.

I’ve been sailing for days, not seeing any land or any ship. I’ve not even seen any rocks or animals. To my disappointment, I started seeing jail as something way better. Just as I made ready to turn around, someone shouted my name. At first, I didn’t recognize the voice, but when I looked around, spotted the ship, I saw the man who was shouting as well. To my luck, it was the very man who saved me once before, Edwin Mandor.

Edwin Mandor is one of my very old friends, and a pirate, not to be messed with. In England he was known as Edwin Mandor, the richest most secured leader of the biggest military army ever seen in south-east India. He had access to every major or minor port around all of England, and he had access to every form of weapon, plan or material he wanted. Governors feared his name, not because they were afraid he’d hurt them, but because they were afraid of the fact, that he can hurt them.

Believe it or not, pirate and Englishmen being friends, what a fairytale, right? But guess what, it’s true, because he’s not only known as Edwin Mandor, the Governor of war, he’s also known as Captain Deathwish, the captain of the dead seas.

“O’I mate, are ye ready for a sail?” He shouted from his ship. Standing without holding onto anything, he looked at me in my tiny boat. His ship is the biggest, fastest and strongest ship ever created by man. Legend has it, that it never missed a single shot, and that the very ship is fueled with demon souls.

“Can I come aboard?” I asked from my tiny boat, also called The Dunker.

He laughed and smiled as he walked back onto the middle-deck of the ship. I obviously knew what the meaning of that was, it was simply his way of saying “Welcome aboard my friend”. So, I sailed over to the broadside of the ship, as I looked up, I wasn’t only close to hit my head on one of the massive bottom cannons, I also nearly got a hook in my head, luckily, I dodged.

“When you’re ready, we’ll pull ye silly boat up the water” He shouted while looking down at me, waiting on my command. So, when I had hooked up my boat, I gave the sign, which created an action, which left the men to pull me and my boat up from the water. As I was getting pulled up, I quickly counted the many broadside cannons he had. He had six rows with 20 cannons in each row. Between every cannon there was 10 centimeters of space, so it’s a long and big ship.

I got aboard the ship. As I got my stand on the deck, he greeted me with a handshake. “Are ye alright mate?” He asked me as he was shaking my hand. “I’ll be fine” I answered, “What a load of cannons you’ve got ey?”. He smiled at me and gave me a sign to follow him, while walking into the captain’s cabin.

We entered the room, and as we got inside, the very first thing I was, was the table in the middle of the room. On the table, was placed a model of his ship. Tini tiny details was imprinted, painted and created onto the model ship. It was beautiful, better than those we saw in the store. It was unbelievable to witness such a master creation. It gave me a flashback of how Mark died. I heard every single word Mark said, when he told me to run away.
