Today, My Name Has ChangedA Poem by TheLastEclipseTodayTODAY my name has changed TODAY my life has failed. TODAY everything is different. TODAY they will all die the same. But every time I try to forget all the scarring things I've seen. The stain present themselves and they won't let me be clean. I tried to apologize, it was an accident. I have no reason other than I forget. I forget what I fight for, I forget why I stand here today. I don't know why I present myself as living again today. The pain I choose to hold onto. It is the source of memories of you. I can't help but believe one day you will see And you will offer me a place where I can be. Be as free as I choose, have nothing to lose. I'll be cut free from the noose, and be revealed with the bruises. One day I will allow all of it to bleed away. One day I will finally quit whining about my tragedy. I tried to apologize, it was an accident. I have no reason other than I forget. I forget what I fight for, I forget why I stand here today. I don't know why I present myself as living again today. Forget yourself. Forget who I am. Let me drown in my own blood. You should! You should! I hear the screams! I just can't believe! I am drowning in my own blood! I should! I should!
