Hop Up, CommonerA Poem by TheLastEclipseA tale of an acquaintance and how frilly a conversation can be
I found your tone delightful
And at the rate we smiled was frightful. I almost forgot how it felt to feel alive And that's when our laughter arrived. It is not love; It is not a crush. We found common attractions that made us reminisce. We talked of all the places that we truly missed. Ironically, they were not the places we were at, And the letters we wrote were certain of that. With a hand that is gloved, I will watch myself become flushed. We prayed that our paths would cross. We laughed at the ideas we had thought. They were fabricated by the sheer entertainment of the image, But the thought was the nemesis of the grimace. I found myself smiling, And you found yourself finding hope. You can go anywhere you want to with your passion. I know that falling down and being restrained is not your fashion. We will escape our hometown horrors. We won't be satisfied until we sate our appetites with just a bit more. And now I find myself trying. And I know that you will happily elope. (This will be your reason of escape. Find a beautiful relationship that will help you run away.) Good luck and you have my best of wishes.
