EosA Poem by TheLastEclipseEos- Greek Goddess of dawn and this whole thing is an allusion.Eos Lay
it upon me you beloved beauty. The
hand I have been dealt is a hand I do not understand. I
will not attempt to diverge, but instead I will surge. It
is your natural beauty. That is what encourages me. Enfold
me, Your
beauty before blinded eyes is not useless! They
can still feel the fire from your dawn sky. It
is sheer majesty! And
their faces shall endure the warmth. Reveal
it to me; the creation, your beloved beauty. The
man I have become is not a man I comprehend. I
willingly shall tie the knot; my faith, useless it is not. It
is your natural beauty. That is what encourages me. Coax
me, My
muddled mindless memories defeat what was surely meant to be. I
cannot help but think blindly of atrophy. I
believe, As
my face endures the warmth. Live
past the eon that holds us both apart. Strive
for the strength to survive past the dark. Eos,
the loving, show us all your majesty. Give
us the glorious light of your beloved beauty. Christian Tanner Originally Written: 11/13/2012 Revised: 12/03/2012 © 2012 TheLastEclipse |
