COVERED

Scared of listening

Scared of speaking

Scared to be in touch with myself

Scared to know what I really have to say

They get shocked when they see me displaying emotions

Perhaps the normal I was craving, I have finally achieved

Just a shallow persona I emit

Yet it is a shell, and the shell is imperviously thick

Felt my spirit evaporating so I closed the lid

Now nobody can see

But neither can I

Perhaps I am brewing it, to enjoy at a later date?

Or am I just dead? Do I just not know it yet?
