USA at its worst will always be a better place to be, learn and grow. Wherever there is more, the is more opportunity, and more chance of obtaining important things to possibly take back home even if home is a third world country. The way I see it, "some" people here that have stolen, now don't want others to come to do the same and steal from them, and to this I say, if everyone that wants a better life gets a life, we have a better chance at reaching the goal of equality...a goal this country was built on but never seems to deliver.
...so my review of the poem, "so come here!"

Wow. Very gripping. It's a sad but very, very truthful poem. Just think, though, some people in Africa don't even have homes at all. They have Slums. Anyway, I thank you for sharing this. This was a great read.

The way the world is going. You may be better off in a third world country. 49 million USA people were on welfare. No real jobs and people are losing hope. In the land of milk and honey. The milk and honey had ran dried. I told people a long time ago. Poor countries don't feel the pressure of the economy. They have no-where to go but up. When the rich nations fall. Poor nations will survive. I like the poem. It was honest and direct. Most talented and hopeful people are from the 3rd world countries. They appreciate education and opportunity. Thank you for sharing your opinion on a important topic.

Very factual... i have the same feeling too, dear, at times... being belittled and affected by the superiority complex and exhibition of power of the wealthy and healthy. Then, it triggers the inferiority complex among the unfortunate. Fitting in a society where social inequality is at its worst seems to be discouraging. However, we need to have diversions from these thoughts. I have learned that i have to be grateful of what i have. Of course, i question my purpose of life. So, I have to think of it as a positive observer.
A great poem, the layout remind me of Herta Müller`s poetry, and you are exactly right. We Europeans are greedy, spoiled, and have no conscience about buying things made by slave labour in Bangla Desh.
Great poem, congratulations..
I am a sugarcoated wreck. A cupcake with a chipped human tooth baked inside it. I breathe out soot left behind by the corpses you tried to bury but I come to you served in a silver platter.
A hot.. more..
