That VoiceA Poem by Blue Ivory
That Voice So tell me, what I can do For these hands that you used to make me? You created me Crafted me out of your heart That night- Or was it day?
I wouldn’t know. I was busy dancing to your good music. Carried away by that voice of yours… One that twists and turns In intricate melody
You have me falling in love With your amazing sound With that voice, you shaped me.
Your high frequency had me shattered. And from the broken pieces, You sculpted the piece of art that I am. You put me back together To your design While you had me swaying To the tune I call my anthem
My holy artist, I have long hesitated Begging you to take me But I can handle it no longer For your beauty exceeds That which my eyes can behold Dare I ask you to show yourself to me? Or do I have you sing My death lullaby? © 2013 Blue IvoryFeatured Review
