She's Bitter Toast.

She's Bitter Toast.

A Poem by Kathryn Anne Earnest
"

Former confused relationship.. All that needs to be said. Obviously, I'm extremely vague.

"

This is to your wishes,

Your thoughts on judgment,

You're the chill under my skin,

The vomit that bothers my breath.

Disappear.

Vanishing at the speed of light lust,

You wish I was yours.

Your appetizing little side dish,

But there's something you're misssing.

Me.

I'm not your second choice,

I refuse to submit to your words,

And this sickening tone of your voice,

Implant a stake in your chords.

Fried.

He'l fit your life,

You'll be his enticing wife,

You're the waste of the planet,

F**k it, you're a virus to this intergalactic solar planet.

Vessel.

yeah dude. i love that last verse..its that power that provokes it. and theres no problem with being vague, thats the great thing about writing. leaving those holes there allows one to get their own perspective from the piece. when you having everything in its place, sometimes the thought and feeling gets lost and deters the reader. good work.

"f**k it, you're a virus to this intergalactic solar planet." hahaha, man thats good.
