Holographic ClockworksA Poem by TheJosephAnthonyThis was made when I was going through a bit of a rough time. I hope you enjoy it~‘Tis another day for gloom to sap my light, Where I wander within my shadowed sphere. A holographic myth deceives my endeavored right, How my lungs consume my daunting fears. My thoughts spew amidst thy hollowed bells When only ripples commences thy wistful spells, Thy clocks whisper, “Time will burst between this shell.” Gazing beyond forces that halts my mind’s eye, Where fabled truths allay their intrusion. How heavens constitute thy crippling lie, Revealing songs for thy horrific illusion. A widowed stream drips though clouded veils, For reflections prance through holograms’ dale. Thy clocks tell, “Time is approaching for your assail.” ‘Tis a luminous spec trotting within my murky weir, While I glance through hollowed minds, axing thy ghosts. For radiance appears, sealing about thy fictitious fears, How I braced for time’s swallowing of thy hosts. Alas, my eyes extend towards a soothing chime Where clocks waltz within my corpse’s prime.
A clock ticks, “Dismiss thy horrors by praising your time.” © 2014 TheJosephAnthony |
